Jelly Fish

Acrylic on canvas measuring 24" X 30".  This is from a picture I took at the Atlanta aquarium. Inspired by my son's fascination with spongebob square pants and his jellyfishing.  Unfortunately I just did this today, the paint is still wet , and it is raining outside; so I could not take a picture in the sun. The colors really pop out in the right light.  I will take a better photo later and post it to my website http://dbpitts.googlepages.com  I hope you all enjoy this one.

Smokey Mountains Gatilberg Tennessee

This is a 24" X 18 " acyclic on canvas painting.  The scene is from the smokey mountains near Gatlinberg Tennessee. my daughter loved this spot. You could feel the air was nice and cool when the wind blew ac cross the water.  It was pretty high up there in the mountain. There was almost a 5 degree temperature difference from the bottom to the top.  The trail was one of those scenic drives that you could drive up to certain locations and then hike a little to nice spots. At the bottom of the mountain and the end trail was a little  shop where they made their own honey and had a few antiques and hand made items. I think they also had some rustic cabins you could stay in for overnight visits.

This is a 16" x 20" Acrylic on canvas painting of Tallulah Gorge. This painting was made for Samit Whitney to celebrate thier engagement and soon to be wedding. This location is where Samit proposed to Whitney. This painting is a reflection of our love for them and for the love they have for each other. May god bless you both.  David, Rachna, Raven, and Lucas
